Established as the first modern dance company in the U.S. to build its own venue, ODC has been a national center for contemporary dance since its founding in 1971. Located at the ODC Dance Commons and ODC Theater, it sustains a professional company, runs a school serving all ages, and operates a theater hosting 150+ performances per year.
